Here is the latest version of the creative and multimedia focused GNU/Linux distribution: Ubuntu Studio, version 22.04 LTS ‘Jammy Jellyfish’.

Ubuntu Studio is a great distribution if you want to work on: Music/Audio Production, Video Editing/Production, Graphic Design, Photography, Writing, Illustration and Publishing, as well as other art forms.

This is an ‘LTS’ version, meaning it is a Long Term Support release, so it will receive updates for longer than a standard release.

Here are my initial thoughts on this version of the distribution, as well as a quick tour of the desktop and some of its programs.
